Alycia Purrott as Sydney, the Pink S.P.D. Ranger? After seeing TrippEisen620 make a post here at Rangerboard about the guest roles on S.P.D. and a potential cast lead, I decided to try to search through IMDB to see if I could find more info. Even though I know full well about its inaccuracies in regards to PR in the past, sometimes it can be very helpful. Looking through the S.P.D. discussion board, and then posts made to other forums by posters in the S.P.D. forum, I discoved Kyl416 (same as the Kyl415 at Rangerboard it looks like) made a response post in a forum for the actress Alycia Purrott. I have a feeling the news posted there is legitimate, unlike other things we've seen for PR from IMDB, because the poster in question specifically said she would be playing the Pink Ranger and the show would be filming in New Zealand. Even though we know it's been filming here for 2 seasons, a poster there could easily be seen as lying without mentioning the country specifically. In addition, the post was made in her actress forum, not the S.P.D. forum. Her big previous role was in a TV movie called Jailbait, made in the year 2000. Here is a link to the thread where Alycia Purrott's presence in S.P.D. is mentioned.
Two New Zealand Newspaper Articles on Power Rangers: S.P.D. Two newspapers recently from New Zealand gave us a little bit of information about the next season, although nothing extraordinarily significant. The first artcle is about an extra in Power Rangers: S.P.D. who plays some small roles in the show, including an extra in a cafe scene and an alien. You can view the first article here. The second is an article from October 21 and describes filming of the show taking place in Hamilton, New Zealand, and includes a monster picture. You can view the second article here.
